Return policy

This Return Policy governs the terms and conditions under which customers of The Skating Academy may return defective products. By purchasing through our website or any of our authorized sales channels, you agree to the terms set forth herein.

1. Eligibility for Returns

Returns are accepted exclusively for defective products.
Customers must submit a return request within fifteen (15) days of the original purchase date.
Returned products must be unused, in their original packaging, and in the same condition in which they were received.
Products that have been opened, used, altered, or damaged by the customer are not eligible for return or store credit.

2. Return Authorization

To initiate a return, customers must obtain prior authorization by contacting The Skating Academy at miamiskaters@gmail.com or by phone at (786) 420-8545.
Unauthorized returns or items sent without prior approval will not be accepted or processed.

3. Store Credit and Restocking Fee

Approved returns will be issued store credit only; refunds to the original payment method are not available.
A fifteen percent (15%) restocking fee will be deducted from the total amount of the store credit.
Store credit is processed immediately upon approval of the returned item; however, the availability of funds may depend on the customer’s financial institution's processing times.

4. Return Shipping

The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.
The Skating Academy does not provide prepaid return labels; customers must arrange and pay for their own shipping.
Returned items must be securely packaged to prevent damage during transit.
The Skating Academy is not liable for lost or damaged packages during return shipment.

5. Inspection and Processing

Upon receipt, all returned products will be inspected to verify eligibility. The Skating Academy reserves the right to deny store credit if the returned product does not meet the requirements outlined in this policy.

6. Exclusions

This policy does not apply to services or digital items, including but not limited to lessons, events, or gift cards.
